Specifically, this past Saturday, the game recorded over 101,000 concurrent players on the Valve platform, marking a remarkable milestone considering that the game was released two years ago. Such a resurgence in player activity on Steam is a sight Elden Ring hasn't seen in quite some time.

However, it's important to note that Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director of Elden Ring, recently stated that players have yet to uncover a particular secret within the game. This revelation may have reignited interest among players, prompting them to revisit the game in search of new discoveries. Elden Ring's previous record for concurrent players on Steam was set two years ago when the game surpassed 953,000 players.
